It takes for more time than I thought to teach the pupils to make music together.

They don't listen very well to others.
It made me thingk.

Maybe I'd better give them each one by one a feeling of self esteem.
When they feel secure and confident in their own abilities, then it's time to play as a team.

Even those who didn't want to have tried several instruments to find out which one they like best.

It's a step by step process, but I'm sure we can do it.

storm

A terrible storm is raging over the country.

I don't really mind.
I like it.

But I know many people don't.

So I took advantage of s spot of clear sky and walked to the old people on the other side of the road and asked if they wanted me to get them some groceries.

The little old woman nearly cried when I came back with bread, vegetables and a little extra: a large box of bonbons.
She was so grateful, and I was hoping she would gain some weight. She can do with a bit more around her bones.

She made me tea, he peeled me an orange,
she showed me photos, he told me about the war.

When I went home it was pouring and I got soaked within seconds.

Right now I get the feeling the storm is less forcefull.

Pity.

I like to sleep with the sounds of storm.

real friends

I've spend part of my day with some friends.

One of them works in a backery and he brought the most delicious chocolate chip cookies.
I've eaten too many of them... too many!

But apart from that I feel quite OK and relaxed.

Being around good old friends is always very inspiring.
Because we know each other so well, we can think along with difficulties.
Sometimes important decisions are made after a weekend like this.

Often I miss someone to talk about important issues, or to share funny moments.
When I've been with them those feelings are gone, and I just feel rich and happy.

germany is a great place to be.
I got several cards this week from friend who are spending a ski-vacation in the mountains. The Hotels in Germany are completely equipped for families, pairs and singles alike, to have a dream time.
My friends are getting huge breakfasts with fresh baked bread and tasty cheese and jams. One of them mailed me the other day that they went outside for a walk each morning, just to smell the newly baked bread at the bakery.
They leave to sky later in the morning, taking a large lunch in a rugsack, and when they arrive they can relax after a good dinner which is prepared with love and care.
The apres ski is a joyous event, each day again, and I'm sure I'll have to see plenty of photos.

I'm very happy for them, but it makes me long for one of my favorite Hotels in Berlin.
I love the mountains in the summer far better, so I like to indulge myself in city-life when others are at higher altitudes.

Berlin is never boring. No matter what time of year, there are always concerts, festivals and parties.
When you want to go to Berlin keep in mind that in february it's carnaval, and the The Berlinale (Berlin International Film Festival) is held. It's the world’s second largest international film festival.
In April there's a 10 days lasting Festage filled with gala concerts and operas.
In June a big gay event is sceduled: Christopher Street Day.
In August you can find me at the JazzFest Berlin. Which I can recommend, ofcourse.

This is just a small part of the wonderful events.

Berlin is a city for quiet people, for outgoing people and all in between.

Ich habe Schöne Zeiten verbracht in Wien. Die conditereien sind wirklich gefüllt mit überherrlichen Speisen und Kuchen, and ich bin noch niemahls entäuscht gewesen. Die Gastfreundshaft is sehr gross.
Es freut much so sehen das die familiënzimmer im Geblergasse Hotel noch immer verfügbahr ist. Ich habe manche gute Stunde dort durchgebracht mit freunde und familie.
